Bead Weaving ~ Events
Once a month, we go to one or more local bead stores and then enjoy lunch at an area restaurant. We meet outside the Independence Center at 10 am to arrange carpools. Shopping for supplies together is fun, and the more experienced beaders can advise new members and help them avoid costly mistakes. We will send out instructions for any upcoming new patterns or stitches prior to the monthly Bead Run so you can pick up anything you need for the new design. Don't need more beads? Come anyway and join us for lunch!
One evening a month, we get together to share food, drink and fun while catching up on our beading. It is a great time to finish up pieces you've been working on. These potluck dinners are usually held at Liberty Center. Bring a dish to share and whatever you like to drink. We provide the plates and utensils.
Occasionally, we will hold a Bead Exchange during one of our regular meetings. Bring any beads, findings, stringing material, etc., that you no longer need and swap it for something new!
